Established in May 2008, The Farmyard is a whole new concept in hospitality offering a high standard of contemporary accommodation on the lakeside of a traditional Somerset farm.

Whether you'd like complete peace and privacy in your own state-of-the-art apartment or you'd like to immerse yourself in the local surroundings, we are at your service and ready to extend a warm West Country welcome.
The Snell family have been farming in Somerset for five generations, and have turned their hand to most things including dairy, beef, pigs, poultry and cider to name but a few. Today, however, the farm is purely an organic producer of beef.
Longcroft has been the family home since WWII. The farmyard is made up of a collection of barns including stables and the old dairy, which is now Francis House.
